Terms of Service

1. Who we are

These terms govern your use of Storage Snap (the "Service"), operated by Storage Snap ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction (or have permission from a parent/guardian) and have authority to bind your organization if signing up on its behalf. You're responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

3. The Service

Storage Snap helps you organize physical storage by photographing the contents of totes/bins/boxes, generating searchable inventories, and printing scannable QR labels. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service unlawfully; (b) commit fraud, send spam, or harass others; (c) infringe intellectual property; (d) interfere with security (malware, probing, unauthorized scraping); (e) reverse engineer the Service; or (f) resell or redistribute it.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of photos, item lists, and other content you upload ("User Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process your User Content solely to provide and improve the Service. You're responsible for having the rights to upload your content.

6. Intellectual property

We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, design, branding, and documentation. No rights are granted to you except as expressly stated in these terms.

7. Payments, billing, and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. By purchasing a paid plan, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for refund mechanics.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated/serious policy violations. You may cancel anytime via the billing portal. On termination, you may export your data for a reasonable window (typically 30 days) before deletion.

9. Service level

The Service is provided "as is". We make no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free performance and disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or related to the Service is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such limitation is prohibited by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Storage Snap harmless from claims arising out of your User Content, unlawful use of the Service, or violation of these terms.

12. Changes to the Service or terms

We may update the Service and these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Storage Snap is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
